The Village Childcare Service
The Village Childcare Service was established so children can experience a fun, safe, creative, and structured atmosphere as they learn through play.
We employ a non-directive technique by offering experiences to children by allowing them to grow and excel in their own individuality.
Our education process is exciting and keeps a child interested while developing their motor skills. This process also develops the child cognitively, emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually.
We understand that a child's learning experience and their environment is very important. Therefore, we provide a safe, clean, and bright atmosphere to enhance your child's attention and help them to remain focused.
Our goal is for each child to have fun while learning the fundamentals of kindergarten readiness.
We exercise positive guidance through difficult situations by redirection, clear and consistent responsibilities.
Each individual that is involved in The Village Childcare Service whether employed, an enrolled child or a parent, is treated as a member of our family, our mission is to ensure that each individual is given the tools to build on great family values that they will remember for years to come.
Our Programs

Preschool Program
The Village Childcare Preschool Program is designed for 3 & 4-year-old children to engage in high quality, purposeful, and meaningful learning. The Village will educate each child effectively through a comprehensive research proven curriculum that nurtures their curiosity about the world around them, which will guide them to thrive, develop, and excel through their academic years. Each child will gain established observations, and instructional development tools to ensure kindergarten readiness. We pride ourselves on standards of core values that provide the 3 Q's= quality connection, quality learning, and quality environment.
Before & After School Care Program
Our before and after care school program is available during the school year for 5-12 year old children.
The Village Childcare Service has two locations within the Warwick Valley CSD.

Hours:
Morning Program 7 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.
Afternoon Program 3:35 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
We offer a light breakfast, afternoon snack and homework assistance along with activities, crafts, and outside fun.
Summer Camp
The Village Childcare Service has two Summer Camp programs:
3 - 4-year-old Day Camp
5 -12-year-old Day Camp
Our Summer Camp environment will allow children to learn new skills in a safe
and nurturing environment. At day camp, you can expect a place where children laugh, learn, explore, and grow while creating memories and friendships that can last throughout their academic years. Summer camp will feature a up to a
9-week program with a wide variety of activities, events, trips, and themes to enhance the summer camp experience.
Hours: Monday - Friday 7 a.m.- 6:00 p.m
The Village Childcare Service Misson
The Village Childcare Service will engage in high quality, purposeful, and meaningful learning to prepare an effective instructional environment for development and to value and accept the culture of the individual child with support and respect. The Village will educate each child effectively through a play-oriented curriculum which will prepare them to thrive, develop, and excel through their academic years.
The Village will influence the staff by exemplifying a standard of excellence that encourages them to flourish in their expertise, which will also provide them with guidance, direction, and even correction to excel. Staff will teach the required academic skills through a play-oriented curriculum in which will cultivate the value and art of educational play.
The Village will support families by ensuring a safe, secure, structured, and creative facility that ensures Kindergarten readiness and allows contentment as their child develops successfully.
